Wondering how old your body really is? Most people have a relationship with their numerical age, and many think that it is the age in itself that says something about the risk they have for lifestyle diseases - this is not the case.
What does your biological age tell you?
Your biological age is decisive for your health, and based on your maximum oxygen uptake, we calculate your biological age. This number says something about the risk you have for lifestyle diseases based on the average in the Norwegian population.
A lower biological age means, among other things, a lower risk of cardiovascular diseases, and lifestyle diseases such as obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, reduced circulation and age-related diabetes.
This is how you can reduce your biological age
Endurance training that works is the most effective way to reduce your biological age and prevent the risk of these types of diseases. With the app Myworkout GO, you are guided in how to train effectively - and you choose whether you want to train indoors or outdoors.
The training is preferably carried out by walking or running uphill. Other choices are rowing ergometer, cycling uphill or with resistance on an ergometer bike where you stand on the pedals during the intervals. Read more about 4x4 training with Myworkout GO here.
